unnecessary appearance of login screen#754

I like Toby, and I’m pretty used to having it, but since the loss of guest mode I find that a lot of the time even though I’m signed in when I open up a new tab it chugs for a while on the login screen before opening the tab.

Opening a tab is a very simple, basic act, and I just want it to happen. With guest mode, I was completely accustomed to it just happening.

I’m logged in. Most apps, pages, extensions know when you’re logged in and act accordingly without momentarily displaying a login screen half the time you open up a new window.

Fix, please, and fast, because it’s annoying enough to make me consider switching to an alternative that doesn’t do that.

Could you send us an email to support@gettoby.com with a screen capture of this happening? This is the first we hear of the sign on screen appearing when opening a card from Toby.

However, if you are experiencing the sign on screen everytime you open a new tab, try updating your extension and waiting a few minutes before signing in again. We have already released a fix for this issue.
