This would help in three ways.

  1. It would prevent having to create a specail collection. Example: having links to production/staging/QA pages and sites in the same collection would be handy and the ability to filter that by a tag would keep everything nice and neat.
  2. It would help to be able to quickly open URLs from across your server environments fo rcomparison. Only one tag can be filtered at a time. If one collection is tagged with #prod and another with #QA you cannot have them both up at the same time even across collections.
  3. You can have a tag that applies to one URL type across all collections. A #login tag for example could filter all the login creens you have collected for many sites.

I agree with @Nic.liamg

I do a lot of research, and find that a specific page/topic may be relevent to more than one collection. As such I’d love the ability to be able to save multiple tags to a bookmark for easy retrieval.

Same here … i have TABS in different collections which belongs e.g to the topic “server” but also to other topics. Would be great if it’s possible to search with TAGs, collections are not helpful for me.

How often do I need to collect more than one tab from more than one group only because they are related to a particular tag other than the groups in which these tabs are located?

I’m new, but it’s wild this is 4 YEARS old and not implemented…I’m just trying it out now but that just told me what I needed to know about Toby. What purpose does tagging the collection serve when the collection is a spread of different items? Wouldn’t you just name the Collection appropriately instead of naming it poorly and then tagging it?

Like putting all the crayons into a jar, pasting the color names to the outside of the jar… Ok, so Orange is in there, but where?! Tags on collections but not tabs makes no sense.
